This is Mr. Fettuccini, the father of the Amazing Fettuccini Bros from Melee Island!

Raise a hand who knows what I'm talking about...

Anyway this is another sample for may students @ SAE Milano and SAEOnLine used to show some photoshop editing coming out of zBrush without any Maya or MentalRay rendering...

Please give me feedbacks for they are more than welcome!!

Here is Tito! This is a character I made for my 3d animation class...

The Idea was to give to my students a model made following few important steps such as Sketching, Modeling, Sculpting, Rigging and Rendering, all with a game like features and feeling (so easy with postproduction and a poly budget of less than 10k tris)

This is just 6k tris for your information...

Hope you like it since it represent the "standard" of my students works...

Well my students asked me for a quick render straight out of Maya... Turned out to be quite nice...
The material is just a simple Blinn with maps foe color, normals, specs and diffuse (to simulate occlusion).
Rendered in MentalRay with a ramp for IBL and an area light...total render time around a minute...
The main idea was to make a set of collectable toys with a USB drive inside...

So all the modela are all the same, just with the addition of a cape or a different head.

I made two sets of superheroes from both Marvel and DC.

Modeled in Maya and rendered in Mental Ray, and the textures where made in Illustrator (!)

Sol Invictus?

The image represents the Chariot of the Sun witch in the late Roman mythology was called Sol Invictus: the Invincible Sun

This SteamPunk version in more like a bicycle with clocklike gears that could make it fly...but as you can see the Sun is sunk in darkness and there is nobody that rides it.
The irony is that it still flies but it’s a fake!

The moral behind the image is that in dark times the Sun is still invincible, but not because it can’t be conquered, but because it can’t be ridden!
